prior to even the recent mass exodus from telegram, iā€™ve been working on [and driving myself into a rabbit hole šŸ•³ļø ā€”>] a suite of e2ee communication(s) and transfer(s) tools and protocols. iā€™d moved to hosting my own [matrix] homeserver months ago, but am wondering what people are gravitating towards (for comms specifically)? now into the ā€¦ this is of course a wildly broad and ever chased cyclical discussion in what seems to see no end as platforms which find mass adoption continue to fall susceptible to ā€œgoing back on looking out for youā€ when it comes to privacy - however, i think at the end of the day itā€™s the ownership of oneā€™s own data, communication(s), and overall existence online that i know myself personally finds to be most attractive. an incredibly well execution of what i feel to be my own ā€œsafe spaceā€ is of course umbrel [https://umbrel.com] who i feel are quietly playing a small but important role in making this broader concept decently accessible to a broader space.

oh! i mean thatā€™s even easier. idk if you ever used to use the flattener plugin in remix but itā€™s still a feature, just built directly into the remix ide codebase. see here for reference: https://medium.com/remix-ide/remix-ide-v0-30-0-release-8ee6bb8bcb5f ā€œThe Flattener is now the Flatten option in the context menu, and the Sol2UML is now the Generate UML option.ā€ hope that helps! x

currently interested in: generative audio synthesis | distortion loops | layered chorus + voicing | sequencing | etc. what i am asking myself now is do i dare go down the rabbit hole of looking to ai for these solutions? even the use of LLMs whilst developing these tools myself? how human is synthesis?
