Some additional notes: 

* social accounts must be at least 18 months old 

* verified accounts are much less likely to get the spam label (but can still get them if they behave in a way that is spammy or inauthentic) 

* verifications do not guarantee that someone is human, but they make it very difficult to spin up a lot of fake accounts quickly. this is very important as storage prices are set to reduce significantly

Kind of odd I'm going to get locked out of everything because I don't own any socials over 18 months old

And as a bonus have increased chances of getting a spam label

Is my social presence here of over a year not worth anything? Why lean to other apps only?

This doesn't sounds fair for us who have been active here for the past year or even more to get overridden by new comer who was 100% active on X but not here. Can't believe what I read

I guess they don't override us if we manage to get 2 checkmarks for the social verifications

wondering if those checkmarks will be public data?I don't mind to bind my phone number as long as those data will be encrypted & not accessible publicly

psa warpcast doesn't store your phone number after they verify it.

but even though they don't store it, it still appears to be stored? you still have to delete it if you care about not exposing your phone number.

the best way is with your own fingers - which is great because it requires no coding

I think their one way encryption must have the same result for the same phone number, so a bit less secure but resolve reuse

But I still see my phone number in my profile like artlu so it's stored somewhere

yea I wanna hide github after verifying. If phone number is not stored after verified, what's stopping people using the same number for multiple account verification? This might sounds like dumb question, so sorry
