Hi @linda @ted, Weâve observed a few onboarding bottlenecks through the Hunt Town community that may be affecting new usersâ experience on Farcaster. I wanted to share these in hopes they might be helpful for improving the onboarding flow: 1. When a new user joins Farcaster, their comments are often invisible â it seems they are automatically âghostedâ due to having a spam label of 0 (unlabeled). While we understand the need for moderation, this can be very discouraging for new users and may prevent them from becoming active contributors. 2. New users often face issues with account verification. The available options seem to vary from user to user, and in some cases, users are unable to complete full verification at all. You can see an example of this in the recent discussion with @gfam on Hunt Town (attaching the image on comment). 3. Weâve also encountered a recurring issue with the 72-hour account recovery system. Even users who join with pre-paid invite codes are sometimes forced to wait multiple days before they can access the platform. This delay creates a frustrating barrier for new users (also attaching the image on comment). We truly believe improving the onboarding journey is crucial to Farcasterâs broader growth. fyi unlabeled is actuall null, not 0 0 is when the algo has enough information to run on your profile and flags you as spammy 2 is safe null unkonown is when there is not enough data https://github.com/warpcast/labels visibility in channels could also be affected by channel settings
