something incredible just happened

as usual, i went out for a night walk in my favorite park and suddenly, i heard someone playing the flute suspiciously well

i walked closer and saw him

the sound, the intonation, the phrasing — absolutely stunning. it was immediately clear he was an old-school musician, the kind you barely hear anymore.

of course, during a break, i couldn’t resist and went up to him, and that’s when the magic happened

all our old flute legends, ofc they were his friends and he plays a wooden flute from 1885

and guess what? he handed it to me 

and just like that, in the middle of the park, i played bach’s partita for all these people on a 150-year-old flute

nobody recorded it, but i just want to remember this day

Yes - Prague is magical ;-). Fresh beer at Lokal is the best I’ve ever had - mind you, the speed of the escalators in the subway  is a little gnarly ;-)
