Beautiful :-). I'm definitely of the opinion that a house carries the "vibe" of the previous occupants - not that that vibe can't be cleansed or replaced over time. I've been lucky to have had mostly good experiences - even great ones with houses and flats but I do remember living somewhere for 6 months and it was just the darkest experience of my life - and I suspect it had everything to do with the feel of the apartment.
