Have I been really dumb? I was trying to send USDC from my coinbase wallet to my farcaster wallet - so I opened my FC wallet - clicked USDC - and copied the address there - see image - then sent usdc from my coinbase wallet on ethereum to that address. The transaction was a success but I don't see it in my FC wallet. Can anybody guide me please?

Sounds like you sent it to the USDC smart contract, and if that’s the case there is no way to recover it unfortunately Wallets should prevent you from doing that imo since there’s no practical reason why you would ever want to, but we’re not quite there yet with ux If it’s any consolation you are definitely not the first person to make that mistake and won’t be the last

Almost happened to me one time. You sent it to the smart contract wallet. Clearly a design problem.
