Is there value in (intentionally) short term relationships? Why or why not?

When it adresses a need for both sides, why not? But that would be intentional. When it's unintentional, there's always the lesson learned.

Short-term relationships can be valuable for companionship and self-discovery, but they may lack the depth and commitment.

People determine value based on it; in psychology, many times they believe that in the end, a long-term relationship is what everybody needs, but it is not absolute. Fun fact: there are new studies that sometimes show the opposite results! For some people, having multiple relationships at once provides the same level of satisfying for others with 1 partner for example
