Minazuki (水無月) It is eaten to purge away the impurities and sins of the past six months, and to pray for good health for the remaining six months of the year. The mochi base is topped with azuki beans🫘 Today, the Japanese sweets shop had a line out the door!

Yeah its a good place. Stopped there on a bike ride with some friends a few years ago. Can’t believe I found it on the map
