The Bitcoin network difficulty will increase by 4.35% to around 126.95 trillion units in its next adjustment, a new all-time high for the index. The goal of Bitcoin’s automatic mining difficulty adjustment is to maintain a constant 10-minute block generation time and prevent inflation from rapid mining.
