Everyone is criticizing #Polkadot spending $37million in #blockchainmarketing. I have 3 suggestions on how they could of done it better 😀
- $5 million on influencers or KOL's
- $6.8 million Inter Miami CF soccer club sponsorship deal
- $1.9m to sponsor a branded car in the Indy 500
- $180k to brand 6 private planes (are there many 👀 in the sky?)
- $1.3 million partnership with the e-sports tournament organizer HEROIC
1️⃣ Gamification! 🎮 For attracting new users, incentivize them to try out exciting dapps on their chain. Look at how other protocol's and blockchains made their experience fun:
- Kroma Quest Master
- Linea Park / Linea Voyage
- PolyHedra Star Legends Game
2️⃣ Stop using Jargon
Let's say all this brand marketing worked and a non-crypto native user visited Polkadot's website...
They probably don't understand the jargon on their homepage 🫤
I would ease them into my ecosystem and make it a fun and valuable experience for them.
