I always recommend audiobooks to anyone looking to get their book count up. 

As someone who can’t sit still for long, I 50x’d the number of books I finish annually once I got on the audiobook train. I listen on walks, commuting, doing house chores, etc.

Another hack is the Libby + Speechify combo:

Borrow ebook on Libby > select Read with Kindle option > connect Kindle account to Speechify > listen/read simultaneously in Speechify

Speechify allows for up to 4.5x listening speed (~900 wpm) and highlights the text  being spoken.
