The MoonMars Museum will travel to the Moon with 47 extraordinary works of art to hit the lunar surface at Mare Crisium. This moment marks a new era for humanity’s creative legacy an unparalleled fusion of art and space exploration. This groundbreaking initiative redefines boundaries by transporting artistic expression beyond Earth. 
The theme of the MoonMars collection is DNA, the essence of humanity, represented by the amount of chromosomes essential for life, we believe art is essential for humanity. 🧬🎨.

Spearheading the inaugural collection named Mare Crisium, is the esteemed Paul van Hoeydonck, whose art first touched the lunar surface during Apollo 15’s mission back in 1971 and now 53 years later at the age of 99 he will bring his second piece of art to the moon. This journey redefines the frontiers of human legacy, with 47 artworks, each reflecting the essence of humanity, soon to be part of lunar landscape. Inclusivity is embraced by including artists from all over the world, adding the extra chromosome significant of Down’s Syndrome, and by being led by women @johannanyqvist and @marieke, echoing NASA's commitment as it aims to land the first woman on the Moon. Amongst us on this journey is also @cryptopunks pair V1 & V2 4706 and the first drawing of DNA by Francis & Odile Crick, the actual @moonmars museum @oncyber gallery made by 0xWolfgang and the NFT contract (first ever NFT contract placed physically on the Moon).
