Should have happened 15 years ago at least.

Why? Commercial internet is like 45 years old. Why 15 years when it should have been 45…?!

Imo the internet is far worse now especially with all the SM platforms popping up than it was 15 years ago.  This is just based off my own experience with social media (since 2007) and the internet (since 2003). 

Maybe it’s my upbringing (poor) but I had no access to internet until I went to college in 2003. I had no home access until like 2008 when my uni accommodation had decent internet. 

I mean I’m not against it being sooner than I’ve suggested 😂

Yeah, we shouldn’t be giving a free pass to the government servants that are paid a lot by people’s taxes for being 20-30 years too slow. How many minds have been poisoned? How many lives ruined? Who’s going to jail?

Oh I totally agree, I know of a lot of stories of how sm/internet has ruined or ended kids lives.

I have never heard such a story.
