I have an interesting new story up on Latitude Media. This one looks at the big new deal The Nuclear Company's announced with Palantir Technologies last week. It's a fascinating play by both companies. Unlike most atomic energy startups that are working on new reactor designs, The Nuclear Company is pitching itself as a fleet developer that will only use proven designs -- so, really, they're promising to build the next AP1000s. Unlike other tech giants that are investing in startups promoting new reactor designs, Palantir -- yes, that Palantir -- is making its first foray into atomic energy by building an AI software suite for The Nuclear Company that will effectively create an "Iron Man" suit for the electricians and welders building the nation's next nuclear plant. https://www.latitudemedia.com/news/why-the-nuclear-company-tapped-palantir-for-an-iron-man-fix-to-reactor-construction/
