🤡I don't have much LXP on Linea because I don't like airdrops with quests where you have to install extensions/other wallets, play games and do social tasks (the sole purpose of which is to generate inorganic traffic). However, the Linea airdrop situation is somewhere between comical and ridiculous. Besides the fact that the chain is practically dead (zero yield and zero usage without quests), the TGE has been postponed at least four times (from a Qx up). The team makes unclear and confusing announcements about X to create FOMO, interactions, and to generate buzz. In reality, there's a lot of talk and little concrete action. The latest announcement about $SBET is emblematic of this. $SBET is the NASDAQ ticker for Sharplink Gaming (a company to adopt Ethereum as its primary treasury reserve asset). Consensys is an investor in Sharplink Gaming. The bad faith of those who adopt these strategies is also evident when they answer "yes" to questions like "Linea's TGE at the end of the month?".

What Linea is doing is: 1) Creating FOMO with TGE-related announcements + airdrop. 2) Advertising themselves, driving traffic/fees on the chain. 3) Announcing the announcement of the announcement, then postponing the announced event for months to come. Consensys has already done almost all of this with $Mask (announced at the end of 2021, then 2022), so I wouldn't be surprised if the $Linea token never sees the light of day. Sure, there's the LXP "problem," but they could fake changes in team members by saying that "the vision has changed and that LXP users will be rewarded in some way in the future". I may be wrong, but Linea could turn out to be one of the biggest scams in history! However remember that not all airdrops are time-wasters like Linea!

If you did not pay anything for the token how is it a scam? Free money back guaranteed.

Linea launched several campaigns where large fees and NFT mints were spent. In exchange, they gave LXP, implying an airdrop. If they don't release token+airdrop, it's scammer behavior.
