This is incorrect. Dan's only job is to maximize value for the investors. There is no "Greedy Dan" because it's his job to be greedy and his targets previously agreed upon by himself and those investors.
This is fundamentally why Farcaster doesn't work as a VC company, or Neynar, because the previous investors wanted X but public blockchain social networks are Y.
