What Base did was promote turboslop memecoins and everyone who supported them is now exhausted. Their users basically gambled all their money away, so now the strongest supporters left and do other things with their time.
Also, most fintech and finance firms have 15 different chains to choose from, and also most are building their own L2s, so yeah, nobody really notices or cares about them anymore.
