Coachella is the manifestation of a theme that the people who were hippie anti corporate rejects, left the east coast to build the technology to stop corporations, but then they got rich and had kids.
Now the kids live with trust fund lifestyles and only play status games, and became the exact thing their parents loathed.
It leaves a culture of excessive consumerism, grift, and fake exclusivity mascerading as elitism when most of those kids are not exceptional at any level beyond having resources to buy or network an entry.
