- Bessent and Welch spent 15 years complaining about the Chinese managed economy, and it would be ironic when they have to do what they do.
- For years this program has been: 'The Chinese can't do it', then it's 'The Chinese can't do it well', then it's 'The Chinese can't do it well', then eventually they do it better than everyone else.
- Why would anyone hold a bond with the US when we want to do stupid wars, but right now we can only do it on weekends and the moment we do more we run out of missiles? The US is guaranteed to have to spend more.
