India and other countries need to invest in their own sustainable economies. You need your own energy. Your own AI. Your own military. Your own vibrant software economy. The tradeoff with creating a remote offshore labor industrial complex in your country, is when shit hits the fan, it's your citizens that are laid off first. It was always a bad deal for foreign remote workers to be the cheap labor of western countries. No real labor rights, no seat at the table. Think about how the trillions of dollars created in tech actually meaningfully changed anything in those countries. It was just a quick paycheck, and a goodbye in exactly the worst moment. I believe certain countries are waking up that they can't just be serfs to the US forever, it just needs to be a focused goal of their politicians and people to actually make sure the direction meaningfully changes to more sustainability. And, it would be better for them and the US as a good balance of power, because the US will absolutely take advantage of it otherwise.
