I think it's less about entrepreneurship and more about building tools in NP hard problem spaces. If you don't know what that means, yes it's going to be hard for you to find a job, and even if you do if that business isn't working in that space, you aren't going to have a job for long. NP hard problems: Signals. Compression. Prediction. Optimization. Some domains I'm thinking about: Biology, energy, mass transport, coordination, warehousing, complex systems, materials science, HVAC, city design, mechanics, hardware, wetware. The age of slapping together a database on a vercel website and making a million dollars being a middleman in a bespoke market is last decade, because other people will just design an AI and take your moat.
