IS THERE A PERFECT AGE TO GET MARRIED? “You should be married by 25.” “30 is too late.” “If you wait too long, all the good ones will be taken.” Society has a way of setting invisible deadlines for marriage, making people feel like they are either too early, too late, or completely off track. But is there really a perfect age to say “I do”? The reality is, marriage is not about age—it’s about readiness. Some people get married at 22 and build a strong, lasting relationship, while others wait until 35 and still find themselves in the wrong partnership. The key isn’t in the number, but in the level of maturity, emotional intelligence, and life experiences that prepare you for the commitment marriage requires.

Instead of focusing on when to get married, ask yourself: ✔️ Am I emotionally mature enough to handle the challenges of marriage? ✔️ Do I understand what I truly want in a life partner? ✔️ Have I built a strong sense of self outside of a relationship? ✔️ Am I choosing this person out of love, or just to meet society’s expectations? Rushing into marriage because of age pressure can lead to regrets, just as waiting too long out of fear can cause unnecessary delays. The best time to get married is when you are ready—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
