The Sundarbans mangrove forests, on the border of India and Bangladesh, are one of the most dangerous natural habitats in the world. The area is home to one of the largest populations of Bengal tigers, some of which, unlike other tigers, have become man-eating tigers due to their close contact with humans. Every year, a significant number of fishermen and villagers in the area fall victim to attacks by these tigers. In addition to the tigers, the presence of poisonous snakes, crocodiles and extremely harsh weather conditions have made the Sundarbans a deadly forest for humans.
