North Sentinel Island is one of the most isolated places in the world, located in the Bay of Bengal. The island is home to a tribe called the Sentinelese, who strongly reject contact with the outside world. The Indian government has completely banned entry to the island to protect the lives of the people and to preserve the indigenous culture of the tribe. Any attempt to approach the island may be met with a violent response from the inhabitants.
