Deer are herbivorous mammals that live in desert and steppe areas. This animal belongs to the cervid family and usually runs at high speed to escape from predators or predators. Deer are mostly seen in hot and dry regions of Iran, especially in protected areas such as Turan National Park. Their main food consists of plants, grasses and leaves. Unfortunately, due to illegal hunting and habitat destruction, their population is decreasing in some areas.
