The Black Sea is one of the world's most important seas, located in a region between southeastern Europe and western Asia. It is bordered by Ukraine and Russia to the north, Bulgaria and Romania to the west, Turkey to the south, and Georgia to the east. The Black Sea is connected to the Sea of Marmara through the Bosphorus Strait, and then to the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea through the Dardanelles Strait.
