Every type of language has its own place. I absolutely agree that for the general masses everyone should be able to ELI5 their projects. It is a very important part. I understand that people working in DeSci projects just don't want to "waste" their time doing the ELI5s, forgetting this is what actually drives traffic and attention to them.
