The Great Wall of China is a long and very long structure built in southern, eastern, and northern China and has been known throughout Chinese history as one of the wonders of the world. It was built to prevent the threat of foreign invasions of China and was rebuilt and expanded over time, from the Han Dynasty (221 BC) to the Ming Dynasty (1388–1644 AD)

It's incredible to think about its vast length and the sheer effort involved in its construction and continuous expansion over so many centuries 👌🏻😮
