Enjoyed reading your post. You make great points on the pros and cons of immutable publications. I think a flat information architecture has opportunities as well. To feature voices that lack resources or networks gain traction.

Thanks for reading. That's a good point. I guess I wasn't think of "flat" in terms of access, but "flat" in terms of organizing. But you are right, the current info hierarchy enforces gate-keeping, so maybe a flatter situation evens things out.
