I was mildly allergic when I met my wife 15 years ago. My parents would never let me have one as a child. I almost got one, but I got rashes after playing with the neighbors cat as a test when I was a child. I failed the test, and so - no cat for me. Fast forward to meeting my future wife in 2011, who lived in a double wide trailer with 6 cats, 1 dog, and countless other animals... I either got over that allergy or gave up what would become the best thing in my life. I chose her and those 6 cats, who have all left us now. Rascal - the now single remaining child.
