I mean I wouldn't call post-cybertruck "before he revealed being a weirdo", but everyone was already mocking the roblox truck.

I see people posting on here, I engage with posts, but feel like I'm always on the outside on this app.

Dogecoin was way more fun when people weren't sweaty about making money from daddy's pump. A lot of the community is outright fascist now when they used to fund fun and underserved projects.

Crypto was more fun when it was about tearing down the establishment not bowing to the emperor

Well, assuming there's no way to do something usable and then not get paid for it. I've gotten screwed on a lot of bounties.

Honestly in the arts I've never been okay with spec work, but I'm perfectly happy to do a freelance trial if it's paid fairly.

I graduated in 2022 and I hate the job market since, including a lot of my professors going nuts about how much they love ai while spitting in the face at those of us floundering without good career advice.

You could make a relatively ineffective armor out of all these chains.

Wild that companies feel comfortable charging so much for an ad-"supported" experience.

This year I seriously need to expand my professional creative practice. I can't keep waiting on the sidelines for people to say yes to grad school, I need funding even if I have to work on weird stuff to make it happen. I'll never get to make what I want without it.

Tbh my macbook does get way too cold to use in the winter so at least enough clearance for a plastic palm rest might be nice.

Also a "Head" can just as easily kill something as pump it. But the use of pump always forgets about the dump.

I can't believe more people aren't noting that certain coins have been manipulated before, but often communities surrounding them can get so sweaty regarding possible gains.

Usually when someone goes around saying "you wouldn't understand it" regarding a security of some sort, it's to play on insecurities. People should be ideally doing stuff from a level headed place, not of fear.

Seriously the biggest reason I haven't talked more about crypto's environmental improvements or the few truly pro-artist nft projects has been knowing just how many "find a bigger bag holder" setups there are and worry that someone might see it and get hurt.

Support Ethereum. Do not support Scam-to-Earn. Do not intellectualize it. Do not tell people this is a new good thing that you are just not smart enough to understand.

While I feel a bit bad for some of them, I feel like at a certain point if you ignore enough warning signs associated with pretty much all celeb coins, you don't deserve sympathy.

I feel like the sheer easiness of doing what would traditionally fall under the sec's purview of pump and dump will scare a lot more people off than tax implications.
