I often go there to work in between tasks. Free WiFi and power. It’s a shame that many in malaysia are closing down, due to competition from local chains and/or Chinese chains

this is interesting. what is the most famous coffee chain in Malaysia?

Honestly I’d like to say it’s Starbucks. 

But there are local ones like zus coffee which are now maybe double the size. 

There was a massive boycott Starbucks campaign because of the Palestine issue

Here in Korea, it’s a similar situation — not the local brands, but the cheaper chains are expanding and gaining more dominance.

Haha I’m so boring I will only drink a hot or iced black. But also a lot of mega is like booths less space than your typical coffee shop to sit inside and enjoy the environment

I like that in seoul at least there are so many coffee shops everywhere. And the culture is to have a good americano after lunch. 

Last time I was there it seems Mega is growing. So much bigger than Holly’s, a twosome place or even caffe bene. 

But at least with so many you always can find power + wifi. Not so in kl anymore
