積善之家 必有餘慶, 積惡之家 必有餘殃

A household that accumulates good deeds is left with blessings,
while a household that accumulates evil is left with misfortune.
The I Ching tells us—
its effects transcend generations,
reaching even the descendants.

Doing good or evil
is like making regular deposits in a bank.
At first, nothing seems to change,
but one day, with time—
the interest returns like a massive wave.

📖 Note:
"積善之家 必有餘慶" is a phrase from the I Ching, recorded in the Wenyan (Commentary) on the Kun Hexagram.
"積惡之家 必有餘殃" is a moral expansion added in later generations.
The original text reads: "積不善之家 必有餘殃".
