Hamilton Ndlovu's premium vehicles to be auctioned amid investigation into procurement irregularities.
Hamilton Ndlovu's fleet of vehicles, including a Porsche Panamera GTS Sport, a Porsche Cayenne S Coupe, and a Grand Cherokee SRT, are set to be auctioned tomorrow, Wednesday.
This move follows the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) uncovering that firms connected to Ndlovu secured contracts through manipulating emergency procurement processes at the start of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Bank records showed that only about R15 million was allocated to PPE, with the rest, about 90%, going to Ndlovu for personal use.
Recently, his luxurious Bryanston home in Johannesburg was sold for R7.1 million, and bank accounts of his associated companies were frozen with a balance of R42 million.
An audience of over 400 people is expected at the auction.
