It was an absolute ambition of mine to go to my first film festival. There was a lot of excitement at the Sundance Film Festival, and my buddy Sarah got us passes. Our trip to Park City, Utah, was reminiscent of an independent cinematic experience. The festival was a sensory overload, and I realized how powerful cinema is as a unifying medium.
