Nouns DAO will go broke next year. 
If current trends continue, the DAO will face major financial strain. While our treasury spending has remained consistent, auction revenues have plummeted. Diversifying our revenue streams is no longer a nice to have. 

Some sobering statistics from the past 30 days:
* Auction Proceeds: 100.2 ETH
* Spending: 69.5 ETH + 2 nouns 
(data from Camp) 
But…. there are five upcoming proposals starting this week with a total ETH request of ~171 ETH.

We can remain complacent and hope auction revenue increases, or take proactive steps to seek out the future of the DAO.

more funds could also = more new folks buying at auction or causing higher auction demand somehow

Yea exactly. The flywheel certainly exists, but think it should be augmented with new revenue streams. Diversification is good

Yea.. I’m sure we’re going towards the same fate as lil nouns… except instead of a stalemate, just more forks 🤷‍♂️

With that said I’m still hopeful that one project or person can turn the tides …

my opinion is that auction is unlikely to ever go up much more. Every new noun bought at auction is buying less and less voting power. It's not clear why the value should increase

I don't think we ever go back to the days of 30E + auction rev

So nouns needs something new if it's are going to continue spending the way is has in the past
