Why aren't you "marketing" to increase the number of "creators" to increase supply of interesting and entertaining content?

- Marketing is something you do when you have a clear, repeatable value prop; it's a post-product market fit behavior

- Sales is what you do when you haven't figured out the repeatable process and requires a lot of talking to users, product iteration; if you don't have a repeatable sales process, this cannot be outsourced beyond the startup's founders

as someone who straight up asked @dwr.eth for a job once and regularly gets tagged in “hire ted” casts or DCs

i’m 10000% aligned with his take on focusing on product and not marketing for growth

in fact, my POV is that it would be dumb AF to hire a marketing team right now

what would they do? what would i do?

Only reason I think there should be "some" marketing is I this is the best social media I've been on and I found it completely by chance. It has changed my life, made me embrace crypto and I want more people to have the same experience.
