kinda crazy to think that bookstores exist

My end game when its all over is to own one of these. 

Bookstore & Cafe (speakeasy after hours)
- a place to stock my friends books, art, physical goods
- a place to gather and host workshops and other events 
- a place to discover unique literary works from all over the world
- a place that can be a refuge for political dissidents (esp when speaking out against injustice) 

I tried my hand at owning a bookstore out of my loft apartment in Nashville on weekends and I never stopped thinking about it since.

I’d love to have a bookstore/cafe… if it wasn’t for those pesky customers.

after working in a cafe for so many years, I realized I just wanted a lot of books and an espresso machine in my house.

That is very fair hahaha 

I imagine mine is open when it wants to be, has a very limited staff (me + 1 other person)

Small intimate spaces within a larger container 

Almost each part is open at a different time

sounds great to me. have good coffee and I’d be there. ☕️📚
