Had this question yesterday about token price APIs - checked all the recommendations and found that most APIs are fine for current prices but have poor or no support for historical data and new tokens. Couldn't find any solid Codex alternative for that

Yeah historical pricing is usually something u need to pay for You can query history off binance for example but you need to prep a little script that iterates timestamps

The problem with the good price APIs is that costs can add up too quickly :( Didn’t know about Binance API! But I guess the issue there is they likely don’t cover newly launched tokens

Yeah just of whats on Binance :) If this is for HFT u will probably want orderbooks not just prices and those are expensive too If u need esoteric stuff / shitcoins i think you will be better off building a custom solution if u dont wanna pay
