What if Farcaster added a ‘👎’ button for honesty’s sake? Would it ruin the vibe or improve transparency? I mean, getting no response at all is worse at least with a dislike, you’d know people saw it and had a reaction

it would prob cause more harm than good due to abuse and percieved grievances imho

I frequent a lot hacker news, and downvoting is almost like reporting/flagging because it ends up hiding the comment when many people do it.
