Went to dinner with a bunch of friends tonight and we talked about the Olympics and how that was a lot of what they were seeing on social media (hello Norwegian muffin man 😅) this past week and got me thinking that I haven’t seen a single mention of them on my timeline - are people on farcaster just not into the Olympics?

Haha ok - I’ll go back to other sites to get current events posts I guess - but real talk, is it the algorithm that’s lacking here - cause all my posts are highly funneled or we really just a niche community focused on our own projects?

My impression is that you get some interaction for endorsing projects. Posts asking hard questions let alone criticism are ignored. Also, if you’re not some crypto OG, you’ll be ignored. This is not a network of thinkers engaging in free discussion but a set of communities trying to be very efficient in networking.
