Thinking about mehtastatic - such a great idea, but so poorly implemented.

You can't just use your mobile to push messages through other LoRa devices, you literally need be connected to your one and only device, because that broadcasts and holds the private key. 

Why??? Why not add BLE and a decentralized name system to it? Why do I need to carry a device other than my mobile? It makes no sense IMO.

With BLE and namebase you could have a bitchat but with much farther reach (lora can go up to 5km per device).

- why local frequencies?
How can you ever send a message from one part of the world to another, when there is no unified frequency? That seems also kinda questionable
