I decided to lose money and run a Bitcoin node. Once I get it synched (even with a fast connection, it's a long process), I'll run a Lightning node. I expect to lose money there, but not as much. 😂 All being done on UmbrelOS which is very lightweight. Why am I doing this? I'm just a naturally curious person and saw some posts about it on nostr, so I figured, why not? 🤷♂️

That’s great! Good luck! Let’s us know how it goes! I thought about setting small mining operations overseas at one point some years ago, but opted out for more real estate.. always curious about the nodes tho …
