Feeling dead tired today. Took a look at my Oura ring stats…I actually don’t think the issue is 6 hours of sleep but seems like way too much of it was light sleep and not enough was REM. I don’t know what the fix is since I didn’t do anything atypical, but at least I know what it the root cause is.

A professor at Harvard, the top medical school in the world, says some people need less than 7 hours of sleep, while others need more than 7 hours. He says if you feel like you're getting enough energy throughout the day from the amount of sleep you're getting, there’s no need to sleep more. You can also look into what he’s written about the REM stage and tips for improving it. For example, I personally feel super groggy if I sleep less than 7 hours. My sweet spot has always been 7 hours.
