starting to feel like every time a project messes up their tokenomics, the go-to move is: “don’t worry, we’ll burn some! let’s come together and celebrate with an event!” how about… not doing that? value doesn’t magically appear just because some tokens got sent to the void. if the underlying mechanisms aren’t working, no amount of burn events will fix that……. real value comes from systems that actually do something: real demand, protocol revenue, sustainable loops. even @eigenlayer recent redistribution mechanism (x.com/eigenlayer/sta…) could help add long-term value - IF IMPLEMENTED RIGHT - too early to tell, but at least it’s not just smoke and mirrors. token burn events aren’t strategy. they’re theater…

sometimes i find myself thinking, “maybe not everything needs a token.” then i remember: wasn’t this whole space born from a collective thoughts with game theory? coordination, incentives, rewards, penalties… we’ve been gamifying trust since day one. so yeah, maybe bad tokenization hurts. maybe it turns entire ecosystems into speculative theater. but isn’t that… part of the game too? every failed token model teaches us something. even if the only lesson is: “don’t do that again.” in the end, tokens aren’t the enemy. bad design is. and maybe, just maybe, even the broken ones move us forward. anyway, just thinking out loud. useless questions. carry on…….

feels like we’re in a group therapy session with red candles… and honestly, this is when it actually matters who’s still building. when things feel quiet and hopeless, it’s actually a great moment to take notes. NOOO, i’m not rewriting that marketing sentence that shows up every time the market dips %5 and you know, the projects that come with 2 github prs and a loud “we’re still here!” tweet… i’m talking about the real ones. the ones quietly shipping, not farming engagement. the ones building something sustainable while no one’s watching if we’re still here, not rage quitting (or pivoting to a coffee startup), we really better take notes.. those are the projects you’ll want to remember when opportunity knocks again
