They’re definitely not very spicy; I usually use hotter peppers in my cooking and pickles.

These peppers are not very spicy
That's why you can have these with  salad .. 
But we actually used to cook with a mixture of vegetable curry, or some chilli curries like Cauliflower chillies, Chicken Chillies

It helps preserve their nutrients too, especially those good antioxidants.

Raw is good. I like to cook them lightly if I can for the dish like curry or stir-fry, add peppers at the last minute to keep them crisp.
