Last year, I pitched an idea for an “Interactive Memoir Generator” — a platform where users could co-create a digital memoir, mixing written narrative, photos, voiceovers, and timelines. Since then, I’ve dramatically expanded the concept based on feedback and technological advances. Current Update – Memoir Studio 1.0: I'm now developing Memoir Studio, a web-based tool where users not only write their life stories but interact with them. Here’s what’s new: Modular Life Story Builder: Users input memories as “story blocks” (like Legos), each tagged by theme, date, and emotional tone. AI Narrative Enhancement: GPT-powered rewrites offer stylistic suggestions (e.g., poetic, journalistic, screenplay-style). Voice & Image Integration: Record voice clips or upload photos tied to story blocks; auto-transcribe and caption included.

Dynamic Timeline Visualization: A zoomable timeline visualizes life events, color-coded by emotion or category. Legacy Mode: Loved ones can add reflections or “responses” to story blocks, turning a memoir into a living family document. Progress: Built a working prototype in React with Firebase backend. Completed user testing with 12 beta users (ages 16–78). Now refining UI, especially accessibility features for older users. Next up: launching a limited-access alpha in August 2025, and recruiting storytellers from underrepresented communities to stress-test the platform's inclusivity and depth.
