For the starting point of the 2-3 months before the $Linea TGE, I’d take May 5.
That’s when the team publicly stated that TGE preparations were actively underway, followed by numerous announcements/messages related to the TGE.

**May 5.** @DeclanFox14 responded to a tweet by @heycape_  (x.com/DeclanFox14/st…) about an upcoming TGE, saying work was in progress but nothing was confirmed yet.

**May 22.** @DeclanFox14 returned from vacation and posted a big tweet (x.com/DeclanFox14/st…), mentioning the $Linea token and saying “Big weeks ahead.” 

**June 4.** Fake screenshots of an updated certificate on Claim.linea.build started circulating on X (x.com/Andrey_10gwei/…). Such things are often seeded by the team itself, and the community picks up on it.

It feels like the hype is picking up.
