Big gardening project yesterday that left me with bloody hands and a feeling of satisfaction: Uprooting raspberry plants that are essentially invasive and choking the life out of everything else around it and grow incredibly fast. We're leaving tomorrow but the project for August when we return is to plant lots of wildflowers in its place! Behold, dirt!

Haha actually I only got pricked twice! Learned to grab from the roots last year. Did a 10x better job this year. They grow back so fast, but not this time...

Nice. I remove a lot of multiflora rose (also invasive, also thorny) and take pride in my technique
