Seeing this today brought back some good old memories. As a kid this was our first aid whenever we have a cut, mostly when playing football. You rush to a nearby bush or field and get some leaves (it's almost everywhere around my area), squeeze out the juice gently on the cut and even cover the wound with the leaf. In a short time, the bleeding stops and the healing process starts. Nature heals! This is Jack in the bush. It's called ewe Akintola in my language (Akintola's leaf). Its botanical name is Chromolaena odorata. It's also called Siam leaves or Devil weed. Have you come across this before or you even have a similar childhood experience?
